We're up to 6 confirmed balloons, so we submitted the ones we know and are following up leads for the others. Fantastic work geocachers (and soon to be geocachers... right Craig?)
Just checking because I'm sure you know this, but you need to submit all 10 locations in one submission for it to be counted correctly according to the DARPA faq: https://networkchallenge.darpa.mil/FAQ.aspx
Thanks to everyone for participating in the challenge! 6 out of the 8 locations we found were confirmed on-site by geocachers, which beat all of our expectations.
Groundspeak is a 9 year old company that owns and operates Geocaching.com. Geocaching is a high-tech treasure hunting game played throughout the world by adventure seekers equipped with GPS devices. The basic idea is to locate hidden containers, called geocaches, outdoors and then share your experiences online.
Is it 10am to 4pm in each time zone?
